Forums - Sony - The Order 1886 is a visual masterpiece and a better game than Until Dawn.

We won't see games this pretty again until 9th gen...

Yes. Agree. 88 26.27%

No. Disagree. 111 33.13%

Only on small in scope or... 35 10.45%

UC4 will look just as good. 42 12.54%

UC4 will look better. 59 17.61%

Missed opportunity. Should have targeted 24 fps and improve the graphics even more. Felt that it was too long. Could have cut the boring game play and slow walking sections. Some other trims, edits here and there. Get the length down to 90 to 120 mins and make it watchable in all blue ray players. With the promotion that it is rendered in engine on PlayStation 4. Would have been great marketing tool at launch.

One of the reasons I felt its harshest scores were ridiculous. I get not enjoying the game, finding it too short, or just disliking the story (which leaves scores in the 6-7 range as appropriate). However, once reviews drop below a 5, I expect something to be broken. The Order is one of the more polished games of the gen, yet, you would think it was an absolute mess.

I'd probably toss a 6.5 at it. Anything below 5 for a polished game such as this is laughable.

Looks great. Easily up there with the generation's best (of not THE best). I still think this gen will get better, though. A little more interaction with the backgrounds/physics would be nice, too!

The order is actually one of the best games to release this gen. And it still sold well and exceeded sales expectations. But because its only on ps4 its suddenly horrible.

This game is game is what a videogame should never be! Make-up on a mannequin...

The game looks freaking gorgeous. People just want more game than visuals.

Gameplay over graphics. There are ways to make a game look great while also playing great. And even without gameplay, the game could have used a stronger story.

The post was obviously about graphics and the technical side of the game. Some fanboy just have to be a dimnut and goes offtopic.

Graphically the game is pretty good. I don't think anybody doubts that. It's just the other bits that make a game good is lacking.

This is the opinion I get without playing it from what I've heard and seen. I still plan on getting for about a tenner

Paid 20 quid for it and even after 4 chapters I feel it was worth it, simply because I spent 4-5 hours playing those chapter which you could speed run in say, an hour, maybe 1 and a half hours. You just have to look at everything, its an absolute maravel and a definte look at what the launch graphics of the PS5 will look like.

Originally I was going to wait for the price to drop to about £25 but I think I've been put off a little by what I've seen and heard. I know I should make up my own opinion but it's also wise to listen to others. Length doesn't matter (that's what she said) as long as the gameplay is good and the story is good. Plus I'm the type of guy that searches everything so I will get a good amount of hours out of it.

It looks astonishing and im sad that it got worse preview it was a much better game than tlou

I Hate REMASTERS

I Hate PLAYSTATION PLUS

The Order looks good but it is only a scripted "corridor" game, much "power" is left for graphics only. Many games these days are much more ambitious and complex regarding the gaming world.

Nonetheless frame rate (and drops) in The Order are disappointing.
