This is a series where the major themes of the Pokemon games compete on which one is the best. Disclaimer - this is all opinionated and for fun. Do not start any arguments on which theme is actually better, since that is a subjective statement. 

Categories I will do: Wild theme (Hoenn won), Trainer theme (Kanto won), Rival theme, Grunt theme, Gym Leader theme, Antagonist theme, Elite Four theme, Champion theme, Pseudo Legendary theme, Mascot Legendary theme, Misc Legendary theme. 

I will also only be linking the most recent remaster of each theme. But if you prefer the original, choose that in the poll. (BW & BW2 do not count as an original and remaster, so both themes are added)

 

Round 3 - Rival. From now on, these threads will get intense due to the intense nature of all the music in the upcoming categories.

Hoenn gets my vote this time.

I really like the Gen 2, 3, and B/W2 themes, but the B/W2 theme is just amazing, so I'm going to vote for that.

For some reason, the Sinnoh Rival Song always reminds me of the Hoenn Trainer Battle @ 0:25 in video..

I think I can hear what you mean with the 2 themes, but they sound different enough to me. Plus I never really was a fan of RS's OST... : X
