It could be the rumours of PS4 allocating more power to games is messing with my mind but the PS4 UI seems a little less smooth.

I'm not talking a major downgrade here just a slight judder when scrolling through stuff on the main page and store. A little more rough if a game is running at the same time. I can't remember it being like this but it could be that the UI leap in quality from PS3 to PS4 was so huge that now I'm used to it, it doesn't seem as good anymore, a bit like BroLorD's porn collection (btw BroLorD remind me to send this back to you).

Do any of you also experience it? As Sony already streamlined the UI to allot more power to game? And most important of all, is it normal for BroLorD to have this in his porn collection? vvvv

I actually noticed this the other night and was wondering if it was just me or my system. I've definitely noticed an ever so slight lag while scrolling through menu items. It isn't substantial, but it is noticeable at the very least.

So it's not just me. I thought the VGC forum had finally sent me crazy.

I haven't noticed much of a slowdown, outside of handling things in your account, but it has been weird for me since some months ago, since sometimes when going from a game to it, it doesn't load properly, and leaves the lower tabs as "msg_Overview", "msg_RecentActivity" and so on. It has been since around October that I had this problem. Though for slowness in general, changing things in your account, feels slower than usual, iti s almost painful how slow it is.

The menu is slowing down significantly when I'm using it while playing Fallout 4. But other than that, it runs fluid all the time for me.

Are you using any active themes?

I have noticed the same thing. Thought it was because of some system troubles I had in the fall, but games still run perfect. I think you're on to something.

It's not that bad and the UI is still quite fluid but it seems slightly less fluid than it was. I don't think most people would notice unless you looked for it.

The same think happened when they opened up more resources for games on the PS3. The system UI, especially while game running, went super unresponsive to the point that I wanted to kick the nextdoor neighbours cat or shit down their chimney like it was their fault.

I have notices stutter at times every since they added that stupid auto-stream when you go through a game's menu on the media bar.
