Those free sites are also part of the port industry and make shot tons of revenue, some of which (apparently enough, or thered be very little porn being made) leads back into porn creators pockets. But I agree, VR porn will start off as an exclusive subscription based service but once there is a lot of content made and providing VR hits the masses demand will ultimately put VR porn on free sites.

Port will always find a way to spread free in the end, no matter the medium.

Many porn companies went out of business in past ten years because video sales fell something like 80% in that time.  The industry shifted away from professional proudction companies to more direct cheaper avenues of actors having a camera or webcam.  I am basing what I know on interviews done with some of these actors and how they have to constantly generate new content as once it is pirated sales of that video crater and they don't see a dime of it from the free sites.  You can argue exposure, but directly they don't benefit from it.  Many of them keep doing it because the cost of entry is so cheap so risk is minimal.

There is  " affordable" spherical cameras that record a "half sphere" image but record a static image so it be like looking around the inside of a fish bowl, their in the works by a few companies for 400 -600 euro seemingly the price range. I remember reading about a well known company creating a rigged setup for that price range also but I can't remember if it was just the rig or a camera and a rig. Its the mechanically moving rig that is what willbe mind blowing here (a with Professional 360 degree rig with multiple cameras costin thousands.)

There are however companies commited to making affordable rigs, again in the 400-600 euro range with anything under a grand considered cheap. Fly360 is one if I remember correctly. But there are many others. Its really unclear if these will be bundled with special cameras, made specifically for VR cameras or if they can be made for a dslr, go pro etc.

I'm sure the lads on The big bang theory will have this tech in 2016 and use Howard's wanking robot arm as a rig ;D or come up with something dynamic and feasible.

I would love if someone could develop a small drone that is able to maintain flight while headtracking on the VR headset controling it's movement.

Fly like an eagle.

Oh, fly like and eagle.

Baby.

Come on and fly with Me.

You only need to Google it

#1 Amb-ass-ador

It'd look extremely weird when someone is masturbating. You wouldn't tell if they're jacking off to porn or a game such as goat simulator.

Either way, it'd look(and be) very embarrassing.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Why don't they just have cams that move by mouse? Oh yeah, because no one wants to look around the room while they are trying to get off. ;P
