Forums - Gaming - Sony lists 20 exclusives set for 2016 release.

So how is Sony's 2016 list looking from this?

Great! 198 80.16%

Lackluster 27 10.93%

Im on the fence 22 8.91%

Total:247

To all the guys expecting anime names to be stated those are coming but are not listed as the larger budget games. I think they are trying to make a point about them having a larger amount of large budget exclusives.

Keep in mind that the separation of lists there was done by GameSpot, not Sony. As of right now, Alienation, What Remains of Edith Finch, Shadow of the Beast, and Nier: Automata are full PS4 exclusives.

Small correction should be made in the OP. Neir:Automata is not a console or timed exclusive, it's only been confirmed for the PS4, however it's not a first-party title.

Just like i did with the Xbox One 2016 Exclusive releases, im going to categorize this games on a Hyped, Curious and Meh scale.

First-Party Exclusives

Console or Timed Exclusives

Its a lot more, they ignore the Japnese games

Yeah, they definitely missed a few titles. I guess they could justify it by saying "well with localizations, there's no saying they'll come out in other languages in 2016", but that's a pretty flimsy excuse when they tossed Dreams on the list, which currently has nothing even resembling a set release date for 2016 or otherwise.

No Persona 5?

I was just about to say this.

Don't forget Star Ocean 5 and FFVII remake!

This list was just the tip of the iceberg.

Alright then.

Gamespot is dumb. The second column should have a different name. Some of those games are full exclusives, not console or timed.

No FF7?
