Forums - Sales Discussion - Amazon US January monthly bestsellers and general Amazon-based discussion

What's up with the PS4 SW bundle's price? It's price is showing at $398.97 even though Amazon is still offering it at $349.99

Edit: ah, never mind. Amazon themselves are out of stock until the Januay 18th.

Well he loves you and you've got a face only a mother could love sooo...

I'm face blind.

Now, THAT makes sense.

One unfair accusation is to say I make sense =p

I am still seeing ads for PS4, but no more ads for anything else. The PS4 ad is for the CoD bundle, looks like they want CoD to drive sales until exclusives.

Here's the update to the monthly rankings:

PS4 COD bundle: #18 (↑1)
New 3DS XL: #43 (↓1)
XBO Gears bundle: #52 (↑1)
PS4 Star Wars bundle: #55 (↓1)

And here's the update to the Week 1 rankings:

PS4 COD bundle: #18 (↓2)
PS4 Star Wars bundle: #35 (↓2)
New 3DS XL: #41 (↓3)
XBO Gears bundle: #45 (—)

Not a whole lot of movement today for anything.

PS4 is falling from the weekly ranking

Can BO3 become the highest selling playstation SKU ever or SKU on any platform ever?

It's already over 10m and has a bundle doing very well. It will sell until the next black ops too so it's legs won't be short.

I thought your first comment was unlikely, but CoD: MW3 is the best selling as of yet with a ~1m lead over BO3 at the same point. But adding in 10% digital sees them tie. Hence the bundle legs might well beat it.

Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised to see some form of SFV bundle. Not only are many of the fighter players genre-centric (hence not as likely to have switched as players of other genres), but it would allow retailers to team up with third party hardware companies like Madcatz and Hori to bundle in sticks or fightpads. These should have significant margins to satisify both, while Sony enjoys the sales from a safe distance.

The price of Gears bundle from third parties just keeps getting lower and lower

They have to do something to try and get rid of these bundles, since MS just has so damn many different ones. Currently 11 different X1 bundles listed on Amazon, at the moment.
