Stealth + archery in Skyrim.  I'll never forget the first time I One-Shot a dragon.  I mean, think about that.

Vanish in WoW.  Want to induce rage?  Vanish right when your opponent thinks they've won then stun-lock them to death.

Not a perk but the .50 Anti-material rifle in New Vegas.  When you finally get one, it's pretty much over.  Same with the Buzzsaw in Far Cry

Blink in Dishonored.

For some reason each time I see a Dishonored vid that uses blink a lot I keep hearing Woodkid- Iron all the time.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I remember Resident Evil 5, when you had Infinite Ammo turned on, along with the Lightning Hawk and the M500. That's the only thing I can remember being OP.

Final Fantasy VI - Quick, max MBlock%, casting Vanish followed by Doom or X-Zone on an enemy

Final Fantasy VII - Many, many things are capable of destroying anybody easily (barring the optional bosses), like the best Limit Breaks, Counter, Knights of the Round....

Final Fantasy VIII - Flee

Final Fantasy X - Luck stat (I guess, it's extremely overpowered but maxing it takes forever)

Pokemon RBY - Amnesia (Move), Psychic (Type)

Castlevania SotN - Several Shield Rod spells, Combat Knife (Hold shield button and mash attack for stupid DPS)

God of War - Throws

God of War II - Throws

Gran Turismo 2 - Suzuki Escudo

Gran Turismo 3 and subsequent games - Horsepower upgrades for race cars

Double Dragon - Elbow

Mario Strikers Charged - Boo

X-Men Legends 2 - Storm's, Sunfire's and Colossus' invencibility buffs, Iron Man (several moves) and a few other things.

The exp. share in Pokemon X/Y. If you have that item activated, you'll alwways be a couple of levels higher than other trainser. Training has been almost erradicated.

A couple lol. I abused that item to hell. I got to level 50 before badge 2, with it. That's how unbalanced it is.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: The game is badly short as it is. But use Ms. Marvel from the start. Spam her ariel ground slam move. I cleared that damn game in 2 hrs with it.

Crysis 1: The pistol. I got headshots all the damn time with the thing at rediculess range.

Dragonball Z BT3: The Kaioken attacks. All of them are automatic cutscenes and don't need the target to be lined up. I could engage 3 of them in sucession and kill all the health bars.

Wow, I almost forgot about these two, though I remember more the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version. After I got it by selling a bunch of R30 Skyline Silhouette Formula ($250k each), bought it and the game turned a breeze after that.

But on Pokemon Blue Version, I remember more that the Psychic attack was very OP against almost every Pokemon.

This is very true. I didn't use the Exp. share at all during my first and only playthrough to avoid these issues and it made everything a lot more difficult. By the time I reached Elite Four, trainers were always around 5-10 levels above me.

Pokemon has been getting easier :(

This guy, Georg Prime.
A.k.a. Cheeseka... err Deathblow Georg.

He's from Suikoden V.

Long story short, I was in a boss fight with 6 boss enemies. 1 main boss, and 5 of his soldiers.

At the time, my main character did 250 damage from regular attacks.
Georg was a bit stronger. Probably did around 500 dmg from his normal attacks. So I put George at the front in a V formation, making him take all the physical hits.

The boss got to start first. All 6 boss characters attacked us, or rather, attacked Georg. He parried every attack (took 0 damage) and did a counter hit. Both those things occur randomly. And he also got x2, x4, x6 or higher type of character hits (deal that much more damage compared to normal counter hits), which also occurs randomly. He did 4000+ dmg on each soldier, and even did 9999 on some of them, including the main boss. Instantly killed all of them before I even got a turn to act.

I literally sat there with my jaw dropped for a good minute just staring at the victory screen where he said something like "Haha, too easy." Yeah, no doubt too easy. I'll never forget that bossfight.
The fight was not supposed to be like that. I saved on a separate file and tried again, and it took me something like 15+ turns to win that time.
And he's not some random overpowered guest character. He's a permanent member of the team for most of the game, and he made many fights too easy imo, even when he didn't get nearly as many lucky skills to trigger.
The only problem I had with this therwise fantastic game was that it was often too easy.

To counter that Georg has very bad magic defense, takes extra damage from several elements and is barely customizable at all. Magic attacks are rare among enemies so he makes a lot of fights too easy but I wouldn't use him against the final boss because he can die in one turn.

I find games too easy period. So much so, that I have recently questioned whether what we're playing are "games" or if they are now interactive entertainment.

XP makes games too easy. All games with level up mechanics suffer from an inverted difficulty curve. Overwhelming in the beginning, boring at the end. Nowadays games just throw more and more enemies at you to slow you down, which only gives you more xp, vicious cycle. The alternative solution is worse, hard level requirements that require grinding. XP ruins games!
