Fixed for you.
I would agree with you on the PS1 and PS2. The best they had to offer on launch was
PS1 - Ridge Racer and PS2 - SSX.

melee wasnt a launch title
Super Mario Bros. - NES (I played that game so much when I was really small, haha)
Super Mario World - SNES (I played that game all the time when I first got my SNES)
Good memories :D

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Fantavision.
No.
This is going to be a really boring topic since it's pretty widely accepted which launch titles are great: SMB1, SM64, Halo. Can't really argue with those as the best I think. Sonic Ad. was OK but nothing great, and SMW was great but not as revolutionary. I mean look at the competition? VF or Altered Beast? Wolfenstein for Jaguar? no.
Super Mario 64 - N64
Resistance - PS3
Condemned - 360
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
No launch title has ever made such a big impact like Wii Sports.
Not to mention it's bundled in NA and PAL regions.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo
