Seeing how the 3DS is normally more ahead of the PS4, I feel it could likely be the same next year as well. The new games released will give boosts on the 1st week, but will slide back down afterwards.

The Japanese market is in love with handhelds. The 3ds will outsell the ps4 by at least 2 million units next year, and ill even bet on that.
