You are underestimating Nintendo innovation.

Nintendo doesn't care about current technology, they never use it anyway.

I guess we'll see.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Make the Wiimotes compatible with the NX and NX games? Yes. Focus the NX about the Wiimotes? No, the motion controls won't catch the public eye again, wait until the tech gets fused with VR.

I just want to clarify that this thread is not about NX, is about Nintendo going for the Wiimote again one day.

Oh. In that case, yeah, they should. When VR is cheap enough and advanced enough, they can combine Wiimote and VR sets, that would be more appropiate than playing with a controller.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Sounds like someone wants Nintendo to re-enter the VR space. :P

Playing Skyward sword at the moment and the answer is a most definite NO! But the Wii mote has it uses, support for it and other kind of unique interfaces is always welcome

yes!

Drop the gamepad, give me the wiimote 2.0

Would work really well with VR too I think.

Absolutely. But the console needs to be bundled with a traditional controller too, or the casuals won't buy it.

Maybe a Wiimote duct-taped into a pro-controller.
