Glad to hear this; it would have been a real shame for a third party to pour this much effort into a Wii U exclusive only for it to flop.

Well... they don't say any numbers. I don't know if the nintendo network connects between regions. Perhaps not. In europe i have seen 30k people in the rankings of the first cup. Thats about all i can tell from it.

I think they might be 90-110k , in the end it's not that far fetched, the game generated crazy hype among Nintendo fans, reviews were good and with an instal base of 11.4M Wii U owners it would need less than 1% atach rate...
