Yeah, I played through the first ~20 hours wanting to love it, hoping I would once I got a skrell. But, after spending a few hours with the skrell, it became pretty obvious it's not my sort of thing. I can see that it's a great game and understand why people love it, it's just not my sort of game.
...and the Japanese eShop has a great sale going on at the moment and one of my friends offered me $80 to buy it from me (I'm an Australian, XCX is $90 new here; I paid $65 online for it) so I sold it to them to buy a bunch of 3DS games.

Digital: Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker,  and Rayman Legends.
