Mr Robot is my fave TV show of 2015 aswell. I cant believe they were able to release something like that, after the pilot I was sure it wouldn't return. Its going to be the new Breaking bad im feeling, which is kind of scary given the subject matter. They kinda go a bit to far with this new trend of wacky unconventional cinematography. Did you figure out the big twist? Saw the fight club theme from the start, bit obvious but it got me regardless with the dad reveal. I could go on...lol. love that show. Also, I agree with your worst movie.

Yeah, but the actual relation surprised me as well. Now the question is what is his relation with Wellick. I have season 1 on pre-order so I can watch it again at my leisure. There must be more hints in there that I have missed.

Fargo season 2 was very good too. Too bad I missed season 1.

And American crime was another good drama this year. Hopefully season 2 will be good too.

I enjoyed Terminator, but I will pick Maze Runner for underrated.

Film of the year? Mad Max

Nothing comes to mind. It's been a pretty shitty year for movies.

The good ones (I recammend you watch these):
The Martian
Ant Man
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials
Avengers: Age of Ultron
The Peanuts Movie (take your family with you, be surprised you enjoy it as well, feel good movie)

the avg movies (watch or not, up to you):
Madmax (everyone here loved it, but I think it was avg atbest and below all the hype its gotten).
Inside out (I saw the trailers and thought it would be fantastic, it was again just avg)
Ex Machina (the weak ending puts it at a avg instead of great movie)
Hotel Transylvania 2 (the first movie was fantastic, this one is less so)
Furious 7 (avg action movie, decent but not great)

My most underrated movie would have to be The Man from U.N.C.L.E. As for Film of the year, my contenders would have to be Mad Max, Star Wars, and Hateful Eight. Hateful Eight will more than likely be my film of they year but it hasn't released yet so I will have to wait and see. The Revenant will also be in my top movies list when it comes out, but technically it releases in 2016 so I don't know if it counts or not.

You NEED to get Fargo season 1. It is infinatly better than season two and they both tie in with each other. steal it if you have ...its that good.

I just checked and one thing Christmas is good for is re-runs. Next saturday season 1 is repeated on FXHD (Canada), will be recorded :)

Ex Machina was good, yet the ending was the usual for these kind of movies. I thought Transcendence was more through provoking though Ex Machina is certainly more stylish. I rated Ex Machina higher anyway, I like suspense. Both weren't as good as The congress and Zero Theorem though. Average year 2015.

Zero Therom was okay for me but did you not feel that the directer held back in scope a bit, compared to 12 Monkeys and Brazil. It feels safe and confined (Proabably because its basically just the one room. It doesn't have that feel of ...whatcha call it, er...background satire, instead just up front wackiness. I'd love that VR sex suit though :D. Also, Transendence is def in my top 3 of 2014 along with the most underatted, underwatched, underadvertised blockbuster ever, I'll let ya gues that one.

It had some background satire but it was indeed a lot smaller in scope. A grand outside adventure would not have worked with that character. I like his smaller scale movies too anyway, for example Tideland. But yeah 12 monkeys, Brazil and Tideland all come before Zero theorem. On par with Fear and loathing, better than Baron Munchhausen, Brothers Grimm and Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.

I don't know if it was underwatched or underadvertised, probably was, my 2014 best movie was Grand Budapest hotel, although Insterstellar was stellar too. Predestination was great, Boxtrolls amazing artwork and best end credits sequence ever. 2014 was a pretty good year.
