They should at least support using the Gamepad as the screen, but in case of Minecraft, it is more along the lines of, if you are going to release it on the Wii U so late, why not optimize the game to work THAT much better for the system.

and it was explained over and over again why those games never went to Wii. |
You are missing the point, they could explain all they wanted but you cannot say people wanting a real RE experience instead of onrails RE games after RE4 come out was not justified.

keep in mind the game had some hype, was bundled in Europe, and also how much of those sales were at even close to full price? Looking at Ubi's history they expected it to sell much better. |
The game also started like on PS360 as KIller Freaks from outer space and got redone a few times before they landed on Zombi U. To me this is where the budget was blown from the early indecision mking, because when you look at the final product that Zombi U was it should have made a profit.

sure. an ORIGINAL game. but not one that was built from the ground up for systems that were way above the abilities of Wii

game has been out for years and still hasnt hit a mil, it was a launch game and a lot of copies have sold from bargain bin. So i could see why it didnt make profit.
It's reasonable to expect them to use the gamepad if it's called for.
Minecraft seems like a perfect example. No idea why they wouldn't use it for the inventory.
What? Hell no! Not even Nintendo uses in clever ways. As long as the third party games are offer on the Wii U that's good. I only use the gamepad for off-tv play but I can play on my TV (except X, fuck that tiny text).

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Obviously not. It will be a plus if they use the gamepad in different ways, but even Nintendo don't use the gamepad very well (or nothing) in some games, so it would be hypocritical to ask this to third parties.
