Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival no question

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.
Hmm.
Devil's Turd, Amiibo Cash Grab, or Mario Tennis: Ultra Low Effort? I think it's a tie between the first two, with Mario Tennis not necessarily being bad, but being incredibly underwhelming.

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival without question. It's built from the worst aspects of Mario Party 10, an already poor release, and has somehow managed to suck out even the last few drops of fun left in that title to create an even more soulless experience.
Neither Devil's Third nor Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash have anything on Amiibo Festival. Neither are great games, but there's at least some enjoyment and engagement to be had from both. Devil's Third is mainly plagued by archaic design decisions (which are fine if you're a fan of old-style Japanese action games) and technical issues likely owing to the troubled development process, likely low development budget and numerous engine changes and reworks. Ultra Smash, on the other hand, is just severely underwhelming when compared its predecessors and its few new features are let down by questionable design decisions (like the Mega Mushroom cutscenes interrupting gameplay (this happened to a degree in Power Tennis as well) and the inability to play online with friends).
Animal Crossing takes it for me too. As well as the most shameless case of Amiibo whoring to date, it's also a middle finger to the AC fanbase, giving them a half-arsed, watered down Mario Party clone instead of the proper Animal Crossing for Wii U that a lot of fans wanted. Fuck it right off.
Devils Third is actually fun despite its shortcomings
Mario Tennis has spot on mechanics, nice colourful graphics and polished 60fps, plays well, but is light on content......I guess the winner is Amiibo festival, but Mario Tennis kind of irks me because they got everything spot on but only put half a game out there. If Mario tennis had more tournaments, unlockables and things to buy with all the pointless coins ive amassed, it could have been a very good game! The online is nice and competitvie though so its not all bad.
Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis Ultra Smash are on my list... It's hard to pick only one but I will go with Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival.
