Uh, because Activison and Disney have done the same first, so it's more their fault?

I could not care less about Activision or Disney, I care about Nintendo and I like their stuff, but if I don't like what their doing I just won't buy their products, plain and simple.

Really awesome when your amiibo (which is also a cheap figurine) can be used to get extras for multiple games.. but now, they are releasing a new Amiibo for each main title, meaning that the older amiibos aren't useful anymore and you have to buy the new ones in order to get those features :/

But what I get from this title is probably a Amiibo Land game, which is something I think would work really well

Like Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival? But that was a rotting piece of garbage.

An Amiibo-esque Skylanders or Nintendo Land? I actually like that. :)

I made a thread about a big Nintendo Party game where you use all of your amiibos. That way amiibo fans uses their figurines and they don't have the need to put in every game.

And I'm voting with my wallet: 0 amiibos in my house and I'll keep forever in that way.

Hopefully.Like I said the DLC aspect doesn't really bother me, is the impracticability of the current amiibo situation that does, if it starts being used in every game as it currently stands, that would be really unappealing to me.

Well, ever since Sega started making games for older gamers, Nintendo hasn't been able to shake the "we are for little kids" imagine so maybe it's better to just embrace it and go all out with these things.

This all gets fixed with a giant sandbox adventure with Amiibo that lets you take your amiibo out in different worlds. All of the amiibo gets justified with the right game that features them.

I'm with you on this: I'm not buying any games that demand Amiibo crap. I bought the Splatoon Amiibos because the characters appeal to me, doing the same with the Bayo Amiibo.

Super Mario Maker seemed to understand this: you don't need the Amiibos to unlock things. Amiibo Festival seems to have bombed too, thank goodness.
