Coleco is making a return to consoles and they're even planning on using cartridges.  They are going to cater to both retro and modern gaming fans with this device.  There may actually be a market for this but I think it has fail written all over it.  I still hope they can find a way to be successful.

What do you think?

Oh. My.

The only way you can sell a console of any kind is by having great games to go with the system. This is not going anywhere except for the Wii knock off section in the toys section of TJMaxx.

Never heard of this company before :/

Don't think they will do well with this console though

It's a partnership between Coleco and Retro VGS, the guys that were trying to crowdfund a similar device a few months ago. I'm interested in the concept, even though I don't expect it to have much of an appeal at all, but the shadiness surrounding the initial crowdfunding campaign and the fact that this incarnation of Coleco (one that's basically just a brand owned by a holding company) has virtually nothing to do with the original one responsible for the ColecoVision and Coleco Adam means that I'll be watching from the sidelines to see how things pan out instead of jumping in at launch.

But damn, didn't know the creators of colelcovision was still kicking. Times have changed:

They already killed consoles last time. Why do they feel the need to do it again?

Should we just call it Ouya 2.0?

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

I thought everyone heard of Coleco.  But it stands to reason... there are a few newer, popular games that I am not familiar with either.
