I'm not playing it anymore, dropped it months ago after the first girl (Fiona, Fiora or something similar) joined my team for the first time, just moving near a monster and seeing Shulk swing his blade was pissing me off. Basically, I couldn't stand not being able to choose when to use normal attacks.

thats the weirdest thing i ever read xD shulk pissed you off xD LMAO. hmm well you should go back and play it more, when you get the hang of it after like 10 hours its super fun, and in the end everything makes sense, Xenoblade CHronicles X was actually much different from the first one, so i got a bit overhwhelmed, but not in a bad way.Now after 62 hours im starting to master it more and more. and thats why i like about the game. I never give up, and play until i beaten it. Play the first one through, i guarantee you, the story is awsome and its really cool. And its worth playing just for the music.

What pissed me off was him, or any character, doing so withouth my command. To put it simply, for me Xenoblade tried to mix turn-based and action JRPGs and the result was awful. The thing I like the most about turn-based combat is having full control of my party, something that you can't do in Xenoblade. With action RPGs, I prefer the ones that let me choose how to attack whenever I want, instead of needing to wait for an attack to charge before using it again.

In Xenoblade I don't have full control of my party and I don't have full control of the action, it's a mixed bag that I came dislike. It's sad because I read more than once that the story is great, but I can't force myself to endure 70-90 hours of a game whose gameplay I hate.

i never knew someone would dislike this awsome gameplay so bad. Well everyone has our preferences i guess. I myself find it kinda of refreshing from most standard RPG where its always turn based. I like those alot too, but actually fight everything at once and go around the monster, and come from behind and doing BACKSLASH, or SIDESLASH!!! is satisfying to me atleast, and after 150 hours with the first game im still not tired of the battle system.

That is a choice i have to make, and it isnt easy! I have played a few hours of Fallout 4 and i have hardly started Xenoblade X, but if you ask me wich one do i feel like playing atm? Xenoblade X. I never get tired of those vistas and its so exciting to explore the world and be rewarded by it. I love Fallout 4 aswell though.

Of those two Xenoblade appeals more to me.

Since I don't like Fallout, and I loved the orginal Xenoblade, I would pick Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Yeah well, as I said, it didn't work for me. I might buy Xenoblade Chronicles X at some point anyways to show some sort of support, because I want more JRPGs on Nintendo's systems, but that's about it. I'm far more interested in something more traditional, like SMT x FE seems to be.

I loved the first Fallout by Interplay. I have not played Fallout 2 by Black Isle Studios but I have heard that it's just as good or even better than the first one. Fallout 3 felt more like a first person shooter with an okay and predictable story. Therefor I am not interested in the fourth installment 'cause it seems to follow in its predecessors footstep.

I have yet to play a Xeno game but I have bought a Wii U + XCX as a Christmas present for myself. The game does seem fresh to me so I can't wait to play it once I beat Xenoblade for N3DS.

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

I have both games, Fallout 4 I bought day one but was busy playing Last of Us on grounded plus. When I finished that I had the choice of either playing Fallout 4 or Xenoblade Chronicles X.

I went with Xenoblade.

Had you asked me a few weeks ago i'd have definitely said XCX, but I've been enjoying Fallout 4 far more than i was expecting to. I don't think i could actually decide between them right now.
