Obviously both games are amazing and should interest anyone who is a gamer. BUT, if you could only pick one to play.... Which one would be your choice?

XCX without even a second thought.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I'm not loyal to either series -to be honest what I've played of both in the past went way below my expectations. But from what Ive seen both of these game are interesting looking though and I do plan on getting both in the near future. Right now I've been playing more WRPGs while I wait for Persona and Dragon Quest, so right now... Fallout. But I'm also getting XCX since that was my 3rd biggest reason for getting a Wii U to begin with.

Fallout 4 I guess, came out first and allows me to build stuff.
I've bought Xenoblade but I'm still playing F4 (and FRN atm). I don't have a spare 10GB to download the data packs in December so I'll wait with it until next year anyway. I hope Xenoblade is good, I'm hearing lots of mixed opinions. (Same for Fallout 4)
As a Nintendo fan... Fallout 4. I am enjoying XCX, but not as much as I did Fallout 4. Story and gameplay-wise, I preferred F4, though graphically (on consoles) XCX overall looks more appealing. Overall, I'd have to give it Fallout 4. XCX is much much much better than the original Xenoblade, however.
Definitely Xenoblade X. Haven't put it down since I got it.

Well, I haven't played Fallout 4 and I'm literally currently exploring Mira.
So there's your answer. =P

Xenoblade does have its flaws, as do all games, but IMO, the pros outweigh the cons. You'll see lots of complains about pop ins in the main city hub, but the fact it has no loading screens (outside of when you boot the game up, fast travel and go into a certain building) is something that outweighs the pop in. Also, the draw distance in this game is unbelievable. Another thing that outweighes pop in.
