By this logic isn't all consoles worthless because in 10 years they'll lose their exclusives due to remakes? Why bother gaming with that outlook?

I think most legacy consoles start to have their exclusive ported or remastered in some way. For example, a lot of SNES games were ported and remaster on GBA and DS as well including third party games like Final Fantasy.

What makes the GameCube useless in 2015, is not the remakes, but rather that the Wii can play basically all GameCube games so there is no need for it if you have a Wii.. and that's not hard to find :p
