It is an Amazing game that played amazingly well on vita. I have a ps4 but always play cross play games on the vita.
I've never played any of the Ys games but that trailer looked really good. Let me add this to my list of most anticipated games.

Very poor taste...
The title does bring some curiosity to me though... perhaps the Clan of Darkness will feature prominently, especially since the overworld resembled Celceta...

I loved Memories of Celceta so I can't wait for this one. I hope it doesn't take until 2017 for the English localisation, but I guess I'll deal with it if it does. I suppose it's not as though there's going to be a shortage of new and interesting titles to play in 2016 if the current schedule is anything to go by, though Ys VIII is above a lot of other releases in my view.
Ys is one of the best franchises in existence. Stoked to see another entry.

Genuinely got excited that Ys had ballooned in popularity when I saw 30+ replies to this thread. Turns out it's mostly Xenoblade defence rather than Ys praise.
Still, hyped. While MoC and 7 weren't as good as Oath, I still had a blast with them and am very much looking forward to this. Shame it'll be 2017 in the west :(

Man, I enjoyed MoC but Oath is best Ys. I really wish they'd go back to that style.

I will buy the Vita version. It's the only reason I have to keep it. Once I am through with this, it's going to the trash...
And 2016 continues to look amazing for PS Vita and PS4!!!
