Forums - Movies & TV - Star Trek Beyond trailer #1

Oh dear, so there's actually someone who can fuck up ST even worse then Jar Jar Abrams? Though, he produced this one, so it's his doing as well.

Maybe it's because I'm not a Star Trek fan but I liked it XD then again, it doesn't feel like Star Trek... it looks like Guardians of the Galaxy

Spook disappearing was funny tho.

As a lifetime Trekkie who actually really enjoyed the 2009 reboot and Into Darkness, this looks like deep fried feces.

There just doing it to test me. See when I'll finally break and stop buying Star trek movies. Same with Star wars. You can't break me. Destroy my childhood all you want, I'll I'll I'll ff#$F#f3d#$

I guess I'll give this a try

I didn't hate the reboot films, I mean Star Trek has an iffy track record on films. These are there own thing and don't detract from the series for me. I loved TNG, but Generations, Insurrection, and Nemesis felt like the writers didn't watch the show or get the characters. I still go back and watch the show time to time.

My big issue here is the music choice feels so at odds with Star Trek it feels like a fan made video. I actually expect some one to re cut it with better or more fitting music and it be...okay. I might catch it on Blu Ray, but doubt rush to see it in Cinemas.

Not a fan of Star Trek but I liked the 2 last films, however this looks pretty bad, seems like the typical dumb bluckbaster for teenagers that you just cannot take seriously.

Looks like uber crap, and i liked Darkness.

Looks like it was written by a 13 year old. Flop imminent.

I'm not a big Wil Wheaton fan, but I gotta agree with him on this one:

Not a big fan of Wheaton as an actor as well, but love what he's been doing last few years for popularizing board games with his Tabletop series.

OT: Gene Rodenberry must be rolling over in his grave once again watching what they're doing with his creation.
