Forums - Nintendo - Destructoid: Gamestop only has 420 copies of Devil Third for NA

The game is already listed for $200 on both, Amazon and eBay.... Bitches better hurry up and get a copy somewhere.

It wont stabilise at that price. It's just a case of people reading this Destructoid article and jumping on the rarity bandwagon.

If you've ever followed virtually any other "rare" title, you'll see the same trend of massive prices near launch before they slowly decline and eventually stabilise. The most recent example would be Breach & Clear on Vita. It sold for $25 from Limited Run, but was listed for $200+ on eBay mere hours after the first wave of sales closed. It's now stabilised around $50-60 -- that's double the launch price, yes, but it's drastically below the early asking prices and on-par with most new release game prices (which isn't too high for an item with less than 1,500 copies worldwide).

In other words, if anyone is willing to pay the exorbitant prices at the moment, well, you know what they say about parting fools from their money. :P

Sounds like a lot of units for a Wii U game with Meta of 44.

My 8th gen collection

So many?

TBH, nobody wants this. I know there are people that do but it really doesn't strike anyone as a mediocre or decent game.

Wrong. No one wants garbage like animal crossing amiibo festival and Mario Tennis 200 U. They could have sold through 50,000 copies of this game.

I guess I'm not right or wrong because it was my honest opinion. Amiibo festival and Tennis are indeed crap but that really wasn't the point here. It's like the nichiest of the niche.

Whoever put the order in for 420 must have been high.. 🚬

LOL Screw that game and Itagaki.

Got it. I always planned on getting it but I guess I bought it earlier than I would have. Now, do I actually open it and play it.....

420? I assumed there's more hardcore collectors of the Wii u than that alone.

I kinda want to get it and play through it... It's a little like how I occasionally want to watch a terrible movie, there's often some humor to be found there.
