Nobody actually hates PC gaming. What they hate are PC gaming fanboys, which are basically identical to console fanboys except instead of hiding their insecurity via consoles wars, they do so via elitism through a massive superiority complex. And its really, just an extension of it.

What is particularly baffling is that from a gaming standpoint PC gamers have little to be insecure about, and those that don't give a shit, are too busy playing games to talk about how there custom gaming rig is over powering a mass produced 400$ console. as though that is some kind of achievement. Or saying oh, why don't you get a PC instead of getting an underpowered console, again not so veiled PC elitism. Ignoring the fact that getting a gaming rig isn't apt for everyone.

From the start of the generation, Mid-tier Gaming Rigs exceeded the power of the current gen, and yet there are still some that don't think that everybody who is a gamer doesn't already know the advantages of PC over console.

Seriously, nobody cares.

At the very least, recognize that even though the PC is not a console, and arguably superior to that of consoles in that of potential, that doesn't mean that PC gamers are any different than console gamers.

PC Master Race was always a joke but some people take it too seriously, the same people who need to bolster their self esteem and validate their purchase decisions.

Console games including exclusives that will never come to PC are first and foremost made on A PC. Development always start on a PC. Where else would they code, paint, model, etc? On a PS4?

I have build a new PC, just bought a GTX 960, replacing my ASUS laptop gaming. I thing PC gaming is better using desktop instead laptop. But sure compared to console, PC gaming is just  inconvenient compared to console, and it's not for everyone, but it have some satisfied feeling maximizing everything  with a lot sacrifices on building it, time spend, money and a little tide bit on installing driver and bal bla bla.

So having console and PC is the way to go, the thing is is not about PC is superior to console or the other way around, it just about choice and peoples are different. Some people like playing on Consoles, some like to play on PC and some need both like me.

But sure FF XV will come to PC, but not in this early 5 years, maximum it's 6 to 10 years. (learning from SE history and habit releasing FF games on PC).

Also this games is build for consoles with PC development tools like every other games. So buying PS4 and Xbox One for FFXV is not a  bad decision at all.

8gb gddr5 is a memory constraint?

If this comes out for the PC, I'll likely get it, as I get ALL my multiplats on PC. But that also very much depends on how long it takes to get there.

Interesting that they mention PC but not Xbox One.

Thats one of the most extreme examples of complete incompetence on a developers part. A vast majority of games are indeed "superior".

TC I'm sorry but you don't know what you're talking about.

It's running on development PC's, which is different to what I assume you mean by "on PC". The game probably will come to PC after the console versions but this is by no means some clear-cut proof. ALL GAMES run on development PC's, that's how game development works. And I don't know where you got that it's being developed on PC "first" or even what you think that means.

I don't understand his thread, was I say it to bring to attention how close the game is to being complete or to bring to attention that it is coming out on PC? Because if it's the latter, I'm not sure anybody said it wasn't did they?

Anyhow it's great to see how close the development is to completion, I'm looking forward to this I just know I'm going to massively enjoy it.
