Sincerelly, there has been so many patents and rumours appearing in the internet, that i simply cant take any of those seriously.And patents are also "volatile":you can make as many of them as you want, but you dont need to use them.I there were already similar cases with previous Nintendo consoles, that the patents that were posted before werent used in the console, at least not in the way depicted.Im just going to wait for E3 to see what NX is all about.

What an odd design. If Nintendo wants to keep a screen on the controller, why not follow something like the DualShock4, but with a bigger screen? You could adapt the GC controller to put a screen the size of a 3DS screen  on it.

If Nintendo main draw is to grab the mobile market then that controller makes. Everybody hates touch screen controls and they just solved that problem.

A lttle off topic here, but I'd like to know, did we ever see patents for what is today the Wii U, or maybe Wii?

Pretty interesting! Although, I don't understand why the display have to cover the entire controller since you're be covering up like a third or more of the controller with your hands, thus blocking out a big chunk of the actual display.... Would be very cool if you could move around the button layout how ever you want them, but this would only be a good thing if the display could actually make your fingers FEEL the buttons. Forgot what the word for that is...

Cmon nintendo reveal it asap

god no please dont, touch screen buttons would be awful for most main stream games, this would send Nintendo down a rabbit whole even more niche than the wii u .

I wouldn't want them to remove physical buttons for touch buttons because that would be really annoying :/

Took them long enough. That's the only way to make the traditional controller people want also compatible with dual sceeen games(NX handheld). It will have buttons, though.
