Easily. People was a bit weary of Jurassic World and it did really well. Star Wars is going to do even better, specially with Disney pushing it everywhere.

Just look at the numbers:

Jurassic World:  $1,668,984,926  worldwide

The Phantom Menace: $1,027,044,677 worldwide back in the day , I don't know the inflation difference.  I can assume SWVII can beat both worldwide.

I wonder what the odds are that it won't because I certainly wouldn't bet against it.

Definitely, There is more hype for Force Awakens than there was for Jurassic World, Rogue Nation and Spectre combined.

This is a no brainer, I was having issues buying seats 6 weeks back at my theater. I had to go with a later time and buy 3d because all the good seats where sold out. However the new theater has reclining seats and you can buy them in advance, this should give a good indication, I went to Jurassic World opening night, Got seats with out reservation. This should be a big indicator.

I think it will set all sorts of records, the marchandise is everywhere, the marketing has been crazy. It's going to be awesome and I will be there.

Star Wars is a much bigger series than Jurassic Park. The hype for 7 blows JW out of the water

this, inflated even the Phantom Menace beats Jurassic World I believe. it may be surprising but when considering inflation they're similar performances

considering that this Star Wars appears like it will have much better word of mouth than Phantom or any of the prequels ( I mean I'd be shocked if it didn't) it should do way better than Jurassic World

the new Star Wars movie will probably go over 2 billion worldwide (although I don't believe it will come close to the adjusted or nonadjusted top movies of all time (Gone with the Wind, Avatar)

Nope Star Wars is very USA centric JP series isn't and that will count for a lot.

SW7 is gonna be the most profitable movie of the year, the hype around it is gigantic. Now I hope not only is more profitable than JW but also way better because that film was shit.
