And there are still people who think that the NX shouldn't come out next year. It's dumb to say something like that when the WiiU barely sold any better than last November, despite having much better deals!

Well, there's still a price cut left.

Although I am interested in seeing when the NX releases. I predicted 2017, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it does release in 2016.

Well they had an unofficial price cut on $249 with bundle with to great games.

Judging from Vgchartz

3DS: 360 000

Vita: 20 000

3DS wins by 18:1  ----> Tripple than PS4:WiiU

Then I guess iOS / android devices (huge gaming revenue) must have outsold 3dd by 100:1. Have your laugh. But dedicated handhelds are dead.

Comparing console handheld sales with iOS/Android devices is same like you comparing sales of PCs with home consoles, either doesn't make sense.

You realise that 3DS is in its 5. year on market and probably in near end of lifespan!?

And give me a good reason why the nx will be a sales monster halfway in this gen with ps4 having a 40+ mill headstart?

Mark my words nx gonne fail

We have absolutely no info about NX. But how will it compete against $299 PS4 with AAA first party games (uncharted 4, ratchet and clank, TLG, horizon zero dawn, Gravity Rush 2 etc), exclusive indie games (no mans sky, wild, tomorrow's children, strong Japanese AAA support (last naruto game, final fantasy, star ocean, persona 5, nier automata, nioh etc) and biggest AAA western games (COD, ac creed, mass effect, mafia 3 etc). I just don't know how NX has a chance unless something like wii happens.

Must have been a straw that broke the camel's back. Because as posts go the reference for the permaban is pretty mild, and I'm rather surprised it earned him a permaban. Still criticising mods in a non-mod related thread is a punishable offence and if its a repeat offence then perhaps if warnings contiue to go unheeded firm action is required.

So on that note. A there is no more undeserving game to have the best launch under a licened IP than SWBF. “EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront had the best first month sales for any Star Wars game, exceeding Star Wars: Force Unleashed by 21 percent,” I mean we are talking some prety great Star Wars games in the whole history of Star Wars video games. And this one completely lacks a SP campaign which makes it a never buy from me.

It's because he had a restraining order about talking about MS, etho was prohibited from talking about anything MS related.

That's way worse.

very bad but can't talk about it. call carl if you need more info

Good sales for all! Sony did an amazing job buying the right marketing deals this holiday.

Also what happened to ethomaz? It's sad to see him permabanned but I guess he couldn't really decide between his posting style on GAF and here, the rules are harsher here by far (which is good).
Still sad to see him gone but at least on GAF he can better say how he really feels and how he wants to express words.

Wow, Nintendo really are in bad shape.

Is this the first year for them in 3rd place overall? Home and Handheld consoles combined?

Last year they sold 13.8m compared to Microsofts 10.5m, with Sony out in front on 21.4m.

Nintendo do not need to pull out the numbers of Sony, but yeah, a bit more would be more healthy. Hopefully Nintendo NX will be more attractive.
