So I didn't remember the exact day of the release of The Force Awakens, so I look Metacritic and I see that other two movies release the same day as StarWars:

This is going to be a slaughter. Why would people release any movie the exact same day as that behemoth? I think in some european countries this movies were moved, why not in USA?

Some movies don't matter and the producers know it. No big deal. Believe me, those movies wouldn't get a single viewer more if Star Wars wasn't release that week.

Would anyone watch any of these 2 movies even they were releasing on a time slot where no other move were releasing and would not be released for the next 3 years ?

I doubt Alvin and the Chipmunks has the same target demographic as Star Wars. Anywho, Alvin is a family/kids film, launching in christmas time, it's gonna do fine. I've no clue what that Sisters movie is though. That's probably why it releases on the same day.

That's like asking all the TV networks that don't show the super bowl, to not air anything. That is not how it works. Those movies are stuck with those dates, and that's it.

Super guts? Super stomach? Interesting TV-show concept, I'll give you that.

It's a Christmas gift for the parents. "Kids, if you don't behave, we're going to take you to see the Chipmunks instead."

The target audience is different, and I doubt moving the date would have much of an impact.. :/
