PS4 has the higher Digital Attachment ratio as well. I don't know where people get the idea that the Xbox One is the digital console, they are almost even, but the PS4 is slightly ahead according to multiple developers and they are even according to EA.

I've yet to see ratios here. However, the post said that the revenue applied for the Top 10 games and goes by revenue, rather than usage. We do have GwG and offers that happen often, so I don't find that that hard to believe. Community size alone influences revenue a lot, so I'd only use digital download rates for games rather than revenue...

We only have developers words which say that PS4 digital ratio is higher for their titles, and EA (which EA access should make the Xbox One ration higher) saying they are even. The math can easily be derived from the chart as well. It's safe to say that Xbox One doesn't have some magic attach ratio based on what we know.

I think this is plausible with King of Fighters XIV, but we already know Sony invested in Street FIghter V and Tekken 7 is multiplatform as far as any official statement is confirmed.

But for which devs? I am not surprised regarding EA (EA Access does very little when they won't optimize their games). Revenue works from time to time, but fluctuates too wildly because big releases spur spending sprees (and that's when the XONE fanbase buys en masse). The chart alone implies that the Xbox One is outselling the PS4 digitally since the gap between their digital revenue and owners seem to be the same or larger...

This was a genuine concern for games developed for one console and when they were only sold physically...

Now it's just a bloody headache. Games are developed on a PC and can be sold digitally, so I see no reason not to port a game to all current gen systems...

Actually it's the oposite.

January 2015 is when the Xbox One was gaining on the PS4 after the fire sales.  It also includes the Xbox 360 which attachment ratio and digital sales were greater than the PS3. The PS4 is also in more developing countries where digital isn't a thing, meaning the PS4 rations should be even lower.

When you take all this into consideration the chart makes it painfully obvious that best case scenario for Xbox One is that digital attach rates are equal based on the console ratios themselves in January 2015.

Err, that was the month AFTER December. Sales peak on November and December and slowdown the rest of the year, specially during January when the spending spree is over. Also, didn't the chart literally read "Xbox One" and "PS4"? Not to mention that at the time, a lot of the Xbox 360 userbase was migrating to the XONE. Well, that and digital sales on the Xbox 360 were better than the PS4, but compared to this gen were positively tiny. The digital buying trend is something that started this gen...

Also, I hate to point out the obvious, but the XONE outsold the PS4 in Latin America, which is where most of the emergent markets that can afford to buy current gen consoles are. The only way the PS4 would sell more in developing countries would be if it sold a lot in Africa or SEA, and in SEA the internet is not much of a problem.

I also might point out that the PS sells steadily through the year, whereas the Xbox goes through boom and bust during the holiday months. January is naturally going to favor the PS4 when it comes to any form of market share, digital included... Revenue is not the same as attack rate when you can have two digital games for free every month and pay only one game per year (XBL Gold at $30 together with GwG makes for a killer deal)...

Honestly if your defense is Latin America which has a greater chance of a study internet then many places PS4 is that Xbox One isn't, I think we can stop there. The chart makes it obvious, your arguments are just looking silly at this point. Also I suggest you re-read the chart.

There is absolutely no sources that say Xbox One has a higher digital rate; however there are plenty of sources that dispute that. The information can also be derived from the chart as well. Your word means nothing. Show some facts for a change.

I have provided points and your only refutation has been the damned chart. You have also ignored my points that Xbox digital revenue is very low outside of holidays.

The onus of providing the information is on you. I have already provided you with very well known facts (no sales outside of holidays) that any random schmoo can provide you with and vouch for. It's you who has to prove me wrong by providing information that suits the particularities of the console. But I doubt you own one yourself...

You can look up the Latin American sales lead, and unless the PS4 is selling huge numbers in SEA outside the developed countries out there, that means the bulk of the developing world is Xbox territory...

Does anyone know if Ultra Street Fighter 4 has been fixed on PS4?

I want to see sources, because I can't find one to backup your claim.

Afterall you were claiming Xbox One has such a big digital sales ratio that games sell way better then they look because of this magical digital attach rate on the Xbox One, but the sources show a different story.  EA says ratios are even is the best case Xbox One source I can find.... Until you find sources I'm exiting this conversation so we can get back to the actual topic.
