True but certainly doesn't look like people standing around strategising and taking turns like FF7. Remember, half way through this game the main character you control isn't even playable so they have to programme comabt for everyone.

I have absolutely no idea because I only saw a brief look of it for a few seconds. I'll wait for more info before making any judgment.

They just showed the player controlling barrett in the new trailer. So it's pretty much confirmed that you will be able to control all party members.

At once? You mean like you can switch freely between everyone any time? It looks that way. 

Well, I looked back at it and when you see Barret shooting for the first time Cloud was attacking on his own.  Hard to say how this is all going to streamline together, but maybe that was after a manual input attack, then the player switched to Barret.  Either way, gotta look out for a confirmation from SE.
