Forums - Gaming Discussion - SEGA’s full-year profit estimate reduced by 90%.

SEGA's financial situation has to do with not releasing anything noteworthy since Yakuza 0 and Alien Isolation early this year. Of course they're not gonna meet the forecast.

Plust the SEGA amusement expansion. If you follow SEGA everybody saw this coming.

Let's keep Sega independent so that it can make games for ANY platform, gentlemen. Don't let this become a big discussion about who should and shouldn't buy Sega.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

This is a tiring topic ... SEGA and SAMMY are one entity. When you buy SEGA your just not buying the game development department. Your buying EVERYTHING tied to SEGA and Sammy. Nintendo is a game development company. What is Nintendo going to with all SEGA arcades, all their resorts, animation studio, sound studio, merchandise line, SEGA is BIGGER then Nintendo. I have even mentioned the shit that comes with SAMMY. Since have 2000's they have expanded far beyond games.

Maybe releasing some of the games that are stuck in the land of the rising sun to the english speaking market would help...?

They have already announced that future projects will be developed with the intent of selling to multiple languages.
