Forums - Sales - Hardware 28th November - Black Friday Week

Machina and I don't have control over the hardware figures. However, we can send any official numbers to Brett and see if he makes adjustments.

Does anyone have a link the press release from Sony about the PS4 selling 30.2M? Brett might be thinking the numbers are shipped and not sold to consumers. It depends on the wording from Sony themselves.

The Xbox One sales in the US are pretty spot on (can't say anything about the rest of the world though). Microsoft announced Xbox One sales for Black Friday are up 22% year-over-year. We have X1 sales for the week up by about that amount.

Is this okay?

I did remark that there was no mario tennis ultra smash in the US chart for the week ending nov. 21st (it's launch week). It can't have bombed that hard right?

With all the other major release and Metacritic of 60.... I sure Mario Tennis Ultra Smash bombed that hard. The game look awful, Nintendo is not even making any effort with the reashing of old IP.

sorry but I don't think you need a link for that to know it's soldthrough.  sony shipped 29.3 as of september 30 so it's hard to believe sony shipped 900k in almost 2 months especially when sony shipped 4m from july 1-sept30 which is more than 1m per month on average.

Thank you and everyone else who posted that source. I've sent it over to Brett.

Your welcome. Good to see that the staff is here to listen.

Ya xbox for North America is spot on. Ms said its up 22% from last year. That's really but what's even more crazy is they said digital content sales for Black Friday were up 88% year over year. That's crazy.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Machina and I are only two people, so any help from people on the forums is greatly appreciated. We want our figures to be as accurate as possible like everyone else here. If anything is off we want to make sure they are corrected and anything we can't change ourselves we let Brett know.

Good to know

I have feeling there are going to be some a major adjustments after November NPD. These numbers don't even make sense. PS4 lead every where the entire month leading up to BF.

That might be true, but I'm not the one updating the hardware figures. I know Brett would want see the press release.

I understand, in fact I was going to provide you with the link but I knew the users here are very quick with that so I didn't bother looking it up and decided to give you my two cents on the matter .
