Was happy to see Splatoon win best multiplayer and shooter! If Vegas put odds on these things you probably could have made $1,000 off of a $1 bet that Nintendo would win a "best shooter" award at the start of the year lol

Otherwise, I kinda think Fallout 4 should have gotten game of the year, but Witcher 3 did enough that it doesn't seem unwarranted. Little surprised Yoshi's Wooly World wasn't nominated for art direction as that game was just pure eye candy for me!

Surprised Nintendo managed so little attention in the handheld/mobile category; I'm guessing ports like Majora's mask don't count. That Lara Croft Go game looked kinda fun!

I love how Keighley at some point near the beginning of the show went :' and then there's the awards, which are an imortant part of tonights show.' *straight face*
Yeah, no shit, Keighley! It's an AWARD show they better be an important part of it between the constant commercials and lukewarm musical numbers!

I mean How hard can it be to just show every award, including their nominees?And I don't mind having music, but have some sense when to use it. Open up the show with an epic number, and then place them in strategic places, like the quiet tribute, that was nice. Also stop running commercials rights after your 'World premieres' without a break, it sort of ruins the effect. More showmanship in general, please. Oh, and stop inviting Kiefer Sutherland.

I'm glad to see that it won the best shooter award! It's easily one of the best shooters I've played in ages.

I can't believe this. This is the most shameful thing in a LONG list that Konami has ever done. How could you not allow the director (and so many things) of the game picking an award for HIS game? Really, I didn't know about it and I'm shocked right now. If Konami publish another Metal Gear, I won't buy it, that's for sure. 

And well, I'm glad they stated this in the ceremony. They could have shut up about it, but I think it's an important thing to know.

All in all, I felt like it was a better awards show than last year.They still have ALOT to improve, like evry categorie needing to show in the stage, not just say:oh so the shooter goes to Splatoon. And thats it.No, make it like the other ones.And there is too much ad and marketing.A bit less would be great and fell more like a award ceremony
