Hmm, I wonder what was going on in the world during those years? Oh, wasn't it the worst global economic crisis since the stock market crash? A LOT of companies died during those years, and most lost value at the very least.

not even, just not this crap.  Pace things better actually you know hand out some awards lol.  Run it fast and more profesionally kinda oscar ish and not you tube crap fest like it is now.

Market Cap is what Investor value your company it goes up and down constantly as trades typically happen daily on exchanges. Iwata made it go that really high but it was bound to get down. However that doesn't mean the company lost half its money.
