My thoughts as well. I tried to tell my friends that and they laughed hysterically. I just about prefer all my browsing on the wii-u.

Youtube is the best via the browser because of the fast loading and multi tasking, i also stream football games from reddit (which funny enough, does not work on my ps4 or vita).

Whatever NX is, I sincerely hope the browser is at least on par. Meanwhile my vita and ps4 move like slugs, and have issues with so many sites i visit, especially anything fantasy football.

It really helps that the controller is basically a tablet.

When they first released, there was a thread here saying how much faster ps4 and xbone were.  I don't know what the heck happened because I own them and they don't hold a candle.  Any loading advantage is negated by their sloppy interfaces.  Unless there was some update (which may actually be the case), the PS4 browser--which was supposed to be the fastest--is actually the most limited.  That's why I prefer to try things for myself. Much of the time, things don't with as reported.

And it used to be even better; the search bar used to be part of the browser, not a webpage.

It's the best console browser I've used by far (not a high bar there though xD ), but I never use it unless I have to.

Yeah this is pretty cool. PDFs work without any problem too! And the resistive screen with stlus is much more accurate than capacitive ones.

What I like most is not having to use a d-pad to input text.

Be sure to check out the manual, on the Start Page under the clock. There are quite a few nice "secrets" in the UI.

The best IMO is that you can easily choose the link you want to go to with D-pad. If you only browse (not writing anything) you never have to take out the stylus! EDIT: If you browse only you can look at the TV and not even have to care about the gamepad screen.

It isn't amazing, but it's certainly better than the browser for just about any other game console. Like, say, PS3's.

It's probably the best console browser out there.
