Was cleaning up some of my gaming area today and came across this bad boy

Not sure how many cores it has but god damn I loved me some 42" Ms pac man goodness, Still couldn't get to the damn 3rd stage of Pole Position after all these years lol.


I used to always play Pacman and whatnot with the joystick. Some of my favorite memories

But! now at least I can have an easier time with finding games I want to play, @177 Gamecube titles now so finding the one I want was just a pain (want to see if I can get as complete a collection of games for that system as I can).

We were playing 3 player Pac Man VS today on the GC if you've ever played that? Great version of Pac Man where up to 3 people play as ghosts with a very small field of vision on the TV screen while a 4th player controls pac man on an attached GBA so they have their own screen to hide and collect the pellets. Great little game if you ever get the chance to play it if you want a more modern version of pac man, or just a version of pacman which is multiplayer but not taking turns (when one of the ghost players eats pacman then the game has you swap the GBA with the controller of the ghost that ate you and they continue the game as Pacman.)

Aye, outside of some obvious errors going on here, a lot of this thread could be countered by http://pbskids.org/arthur/games/factsopinions/ that said... it makes for a damn fun read with my morning tea so I wouldn't miss stuff like this for the world.

The image in my head of people sitting around their PS4 this christmas morning while OP yells from outside their window that the console they didn't buy is better warms my heart in some ways.

Main thing about a system being the best for a Gamer, is if you can grab a pad/mouse/keyboard and sit down with it and play some video games which make you happy while you have time off work/studies, I think if you find yourself sitting at it thinking that you need to tell someone else that the console they are sitting at isn't fun to use... then you're just taking from your own enjoyment.

No offense man.  Despite Rare's intervention and how good of a game Ocarina of time is.  The N64 was a terrible console in the sense that it 1: had a 6 month dry spell (Wii U remind you of anything) 2: lost all 3rd party support to Sony 3:had no JRPGs outside of Ogre Battle and Paper Mario 4: released less games than the Saturn.  And saying all 6th yen consoles were meh is laughable.  But to each his own.

I actually got a Wii version of it for free(best gift from family ever).

 

It's some deluxe edition that has a bunch of Namco games together(with Pacman the main attraction).  

 

The gameplay was nice as well. You rolled around as pacman throughout the game. There was an arcade(shown above) that let you play many of the classic games. However, outside of there, special games involving pacman were made.

 

It was pretty fun to play. A lot of nostalgia as I played this every once in a while(also costs 10 bucks only)
