There was a 15% off 2016 preorders promotion for cyber monday. Considering that it is amazon.com, and you can cancel at any point, and do nitty get charged until shipment - I pre-ordered both UC4 and horizon.

As a Sony shareholder (I feel so cool saying that ) I honestly hope they won't make it permanent. And luckily, judging from the duration, I don't think it will be either, cause it's for a rather short while. Either way, this will surely make for a massive December NPD. Excited!

I think you were onto something with the 299 permanent price being the actuall price cut. After current stock is out im sure they are gonna debundle and drop it to 299
