To get where? They clearly dominated last gen.

But a lot of them who delivered those 90+ games seem to have dropped the ball this gen.

a few that come to mind are:

Turn 10- All the Forza games on 360 scored over 90, while 5 and 6 took a nosedive this gen.

Bungie- U think all their Halos scored over 90, but Destiny not so much.

Bethesda- Their TES and Fallout last gen all got that universal acclaim but Fallout 4 didn't get quite the same reaction.

But like I said there are plenty of proven western devs who will be releasing their games next year, mostly from Sony's first party who have the potential to even the score.

MGSV is a last generation game and there is no difference
other than the lighting and resolution.

I wouldn't say that seeing as how Bloodborne is the best Japanese game released since the PS2 IMO.Not saying that there was no single good Japanese game,but none of them were masterpeices like FF7,Ocarina of Time,MGS3,Ico or Okami.Even games like Metroid Prime,Wind Waker,Dark Cloud 2 and Persona 3 were much better than any Japanese game last generation with maybe the exception of Demon's Souls,but BB far smashes DS.The impact of any Japanese game last generaton did not compare to any Western game and this makes BB look even better since it can actually compare to some of the greatest games ever made.I am not a fan of COD,but it did get better while games like FF and RE got worse and MGSV is not a great game no matter the review.MGS3 will forever be the best MGS.Games like Bioshock,Uncharted 2,Skyrim and Mass Effect 2 were far above any Japanese game with The Last of Us being one of the greatest games in history.No Japanese game came close until BB.

And dynamic weather effects, and more players in online.

but the reason I listed it is the fact that it released 2 years into this generation and PS4 was its main platform and the vast majority played it on cure gen consoles. Like I said earlier anyone who's being honest with themselves will know the difference.

Interesting list. Definitely feel that the "series" those titles were from helped them bump up the scores a few points because I'd say there are plenty of 80s this gen that are just as good.

By the logic of lead platform and game sales, wouldn't Rayman Legends count then, considering it was built with Wii U as lead, and sales on Wii U/PS4/XB1 beat those of 360/PS3?

Yeah, even if they were not up to speed quality wise. They are still worthwhile games that people should not just gloss over or ignore altogether.
