Isn't Nintendo of Europe very poorly regarded. Not sure if this guy is much of a catch...

And, oh no! Casual gamers are going to kill hardcore gaming on the Xbox just like they did for Nintendo! ;)

It's a good move for MS, in that they need to diversify their audience if they want to grow (or even maintain) market share. But they are really too far behind the 'casual' market game to ever do any real harm to Nintendo.
Maybe next generation...
