Putting it only on the Wii U wouldn't be a good idea. The Wii U's install base is very low, and in a couple of years it isn't even going to be as relevant as it is now, so putting it on the NX as well would increase the longevity of the game and help with the install base problem (If NX is a console).

NX Backwards compatibility would render this dispute useless imo. Wii U owners can have their Zelda Wii U and NX owners can have it on BC.

I actually agree with that, it seems like releasing only on WiiU's low install-base is a waste for such a huge game investment. "Twilight Princess-ing" it would be a good idea, it adds to the longevity of the game which we saw did the real Twilight Princess much good. I would support a dual release of Zelda U, if NX releases in 2016 (and is a home console/system that is adequate to run this game).

Releasing any game on Wii U from a business point of view is just stupid.

Yes a burn all the 10million people who bought a wiiu, some just for Zelda U, that would be a great business decision, not!!!

10m, whoopi. I wouldn't be pissed if they concentrate on the next system, they are a business that needs to make money. I still enjoy the Wii U regardless of what direction they take, but honestly the system has failed to grab consumers.

Even if game is almost complete for Wii U and in worst case they will have at least 1-2m sold copies on Wii U!?

Actually at this point it would be very stupid not to release it on Wii U, not to mentioned anger of Wii U owners whom Nintendo promised Zelda U game right after launch. But luckily Nintendo isn't that stupid and they releasing Zelda U on Wii U.

And people may not buy an NX who own a wiiu because of that decision, it will make money on WiiU regardless, you dont do that to your fans who have supported you, i would refuse to buy an NX based off of that decision, many others would to!

This is very similar Zelda TP situation and we all know how that ended, Wii gets own TP even it was BC with GC games. It basically best solution and win-win situation, Wii U owner will have their promised Zelda and NX will have very strong launch game.

If the NX is fairly powerful and has 3rd party support, then losing 10m and gaining 20/30m or maybe more would be a great decision still. If people love Nintendo so much, why would you want your favorite company to suffer, doesn't make sense to me.
