The game looks amazing, but the ads were kinda meh. Hopefully X will do well this holiday.



I'm seriously hyped for this game, and I hope amazon.es is right because they sent me an email to say that I'll have it on the 3rd of december and not the 4th xD

Those ads are great. It's difficult to talk about a game as big as XCX in less than a minute. I've seen hours of gameplay and still feels as I have only seen very little.

I hope this game sells at least one million. It deserves more than that, but I would be really sad if they stopped the franchise here. And now that I have read what spemanig said about what they could do next I want it! Space travel? Fighting in your own spaceship on space and travelling to other planets... Fuck yes!! :D

Only 12 story missions is my only gripe. It's going to be like Skyrim in regards to small meh story, but tons of side quests and exploration.

I've heard the story is good. The difference though is that X tries to focus more on character development, and you access those through affinity missions, not the story missions. Plus, knowing Monolith, a lot of the main missions are going to be very long with lots of cutscenes.

I've also heard that a lot of those missions are voice acted. I withhold judgement until I finish the game. As long as the pacing is good, I don't care if it's shorter. People say its 40 hours "if you blaze through it." That's no brief game.

Like I said, I think this is the Majora's Mask to Xenoblade's Ocarina of Time. It's different. I'm fine with that, as long as it's good. As long as there isn't 6 hours of nothing between story bits, whether that's main or affinity, like in the Phantom Pain, I'm sure I'll be fine.

May be only 12 story missions, but some story mission needs to be unlocked, and to unlock them you need to do affinity missions and side quests if im not mistaken.So the main story will be longer than you think.
