I do prefer me some megadrive but the snes is the best console Nintendo has ever created. It can arguably stand up to any console past or present.

This game singlehandedly defined my love for Nintendo. I'm sad they've never made another RPG quite like it, but the followup RPG series they've created, Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario, are both stellar in their own right. Super Mario RPG remains a masterpiece though.

It may sound weird but the worst decision I ever made was selling my Snes with more than 30 games just to buy a fucking Playstation 1. Damn my big brother fooled me on this. Played the ps1 very little and regret it since the moment I sold it.

My favourite games were:
Secret of Evermore and Terranigma.
Then the obvious Link to the past, Super mario world, kart, fzero, dkc trilogy, star wars games, mario rpg, Super Castlevania IV, ghouls and ghosts, well... all of them. Best console ever :_(

Still have the SNES but traded some really great games (Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Star Fox, etc) when an issue of EGM said they were worth money. I can't home with Tomb Raider 3 and 4, Wu Tang Clan, Rollcage, and some other b-list PS1 stuff that I didn't like.

At least my Ouya has a great emulator so I can still play those games.
