again, show me AA in Forza 2, because in that game a LOT OF JAGGIES. That means 10Mb xenos buffer sux.

no x360 games on UE3.0 have AA.

 

Forza 2 has 4xAA. Now Motorstorm, on the other hand...

Even if you were right about Forza's AA, you aren't BTW. That has nothing to do with the fact that you skipped over the points NJ5 made. He addressed yours and quite effectively I may add. Of course debating technical specifications with someone that has NJ5's programming knowledge wasn't a wise course of action to begin with.

EDIT: BTW, it's no coincidence that DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0 use unified shading. The bottom line is that ATI achieved what noone else could with their work on the Xbox 360, and that same work is defining the next wave of graphics cards for PCs...

The drab colors and weak art design don't help. 60fps is welcome, though. yeah, 4xAA, maybe in replays, but ingame - NO AA. EDRAM sux - BECAUSE NO AA IN FORZA2. p.s. btw, all PS3 games(MGS4, FFXIII, Haze, HS, Lair, Ratchet) developers speaking about amazing power of PS3. While nothing impressive about x360 heard from x360 game developers(Lost Planet, geow).

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

Please find me one screenshot which shows better AA in Motorstorm than in Forza 2, for example. I say this because so far, I haven't seen one. People using 1080 resolution on 720 res TVs don't count BTW.

And above all, don't let the fact that Microsoft mandates that developers use AA in 360's games stop you from repeating "360's EDRAM sux" once again. And if you do repeat it, please write "sucks" this time, it makes you look less fanboyish.

My point was that the 360 has better support for AA than the PS3, I didn't even mention Forza 2 until you did.

But, regarding the points that you brought up, Forza 2 DOES have AA, as all the xbox 360 games are forced to by Microsoft, as far as I know:

I have yet to see you disprove (or even properly respond to) any of my points which support the fact that 360's GPU is better than the PS3's... You can find tons of Nvidia engineers saying the same as me all over the internet, although they obviously don't state it explicitly.

If you think you can be more unbiased and knowledgeable than a Nvidia engineer praising a competing product, feel free to reply to this post, otherwise I'll ignore you in this thread from now on.
