I am not trying to trolling, and i am not saying than more space is bad, but all depends where is used. Remember the 10 gb of soud for Heavenly sword, and it wasnt the best game ever. I say that because there is a game named CoD 4, one of the best shooter ever, but is not in 50 GB blue ray disc and i doubt than resistance can be that good. And like i said it before, games like FINAL FANTASY really need that space.

Will the game require a manditory installation? And if so, how much?

Probaly has to do with loseless audio.

But remember, Naughty Dog used 22GB on a 25GB disc, for a 10 hour game with no multiplayer, and everything was compressed.

Now take the same singleplayer, make it it a bit longer, add the seperate campaign for multiplayer, co-op, online and everything else. It could defenitly be possible.

It's all going to be HD video, uncompressed audio, and data that is repeated for better loading times. It seems like every time a PS3 game gets hyped up, the amount of space it takes up is always one of the key factors. It is always due to space being filled up by the things mentioned above.

 -and to whoever mentioned it - the amount of extra space needed for improved AI would be negligible.

whats the problem with having video and uncompressed audio? Anyway the game will be atleast bigger than resistance 1, which is big for a FPS

 So you're saying that CoD4 would have been worse if they had made the SP campaign an hour longer, but had kept the quality high?

 You're talking bullshit here, if they had wanted to they could have added more content to the BD without making sacrifices.

You think the game gets worse because it takes up more space? There is no reason why Resistance 2 shouldn't be on level with, or perhaps even better than, CoD4.

Well maybe you could take the second if really is as good as call of duty with a campaing of 8 hours, graphics, sound and everything that good. Personally, PERSONALLY i am not very interested in 60 ppl playing online, but, if has the option, is welcome.

Resistance was a very good game, resistance 2 isnt out yet, so, we have to wait for see if have a campaing of 8 hours and if is as good as the first one.

 Not known yet. I couldn't really care either way. Sure it'd be better if I didn't have to, but it's such a minor inconvenience that wouldn't bother me in the least. It seems to bother those who don't own the console, or ever plan on owning it, moreso than those who plan on purchasing the said game where an installation is required.
