Time stops for no man. Nintendo themselves showed as much by how they only spent 10 seconds addressing his death in the direct. You can't expect everyone to cry for months and months whenever someone dies. I'm sure instead of wasting time with that Iwata would rather Nintendo keep on running like they always have.

Not to mention the fact that they were headed for the storm long before Iwata died. In fact; I wager they were in imminent trouble before he even got diagnosed. Besides; any one CEO's illness or even death shouldn't prevent anyone from discussing the future and present state of the company, on the contrary, it seems more pertinent and relevant now than ever.

I didn't see anyone holding back when Steve Jobs died, and I sure didn't see DolPhanTendo stepping in to tell anyone to do so.

Yeah they did it took them awhile before any announcement for new iPhone s people were even complaint about this as well, sad

What are your rules here? If it's about Nintendo games announced in 2015, then with minimum effort I can already think of Twilight Princess HD that you missed.

Like the thread title says, Nintendo developed retail games announced in 2015.

So Twilight Princess HD doesn't count because...?

Or Xenoblade
Or Star Fox

Or Pokken Tournament

Or Zelda U

Or Devils Third

If you're a company that puts respect and morals before money you're okay in my book. This what Nintendo did I respect that. I'm willing to bet the NX has been pushed back by a few months as well. I know it's hard to phanthom businesses putting good morals before making an extra buck or two but I see it all the time here the U.S. And Nintendo seems like they did the same.

E3 wasn't great this year because they focused on this year only to try to help build excitement for the holidays. But to say they are done supporting is crazy and you aren't thinking. Game releases for 2016 so far are on par for what early 2015 and better the  2014 let's recap.

2014 if can remember only had Tropical Freeze on February

2015 had Mario Party, Rainbow Curse

2016 Star Fox Pokken Tournament Twilight Princess HD

Late Spring 2014 Mario Kart

                  2015 Splatoon

2016 Zelda U( prediction a direct annoucing it early February around Twilight Princess HD 30th anniversary hype)

Looks like it's not Nintendo not supporting the WiiU but like third parties

Looks like you need to read the OP.

Also my memory was off, I was thinking he died before E3 for some reason but it was actually after, meaning it had no effect on Nintendo's gameplan, which was already to focus on NX by that point.

It's made by Tantalus, pretty sure they even said that in the direct. A remake where not much is even remade wouldn't count for much anyway.

It's actually being co-developed by Tantalus and Nintendo.

I did read the OP like most people do to try to make themselves look right you paint a very broad scope in it. By not comparing the game releases from earlier years shows you're not thinking about it logically.

The support has been the same over the last 2 years once again problem is lack of third party to take care of gaps NX isn't even close to coming out next year

Nintendo was done with 8 gen long time ago

No official announcement and for all we know, it might be an NX game.

I thought Miyamoto or someone came out and said they are very close to releasing pikmin 4? That was in 2015 so..... kinda unsure how that doesn't fit criteria but meh I guess it was a kinda vague announcement
