I can't say I know what comments you are referring to, but some of those comments putting down XboneBC could have been people saying that BC won't help Xbone sell a shit-ton of consoles, which I believe is the case not only for Xbone but for PS4 as well.

Digital Foundry are just doing guesswork based on the release of the PS2 republished games that came with starwars battlefront.

The fact we know about it means someone may have broken the embargo, Sony might have said to DF that they can do the report Sony already knew DF were doing because they are were already doing it together.

GAF has been asking whether it will be on a game by game basis or whether it's across the board emulation similar to that found on PCs. In other words -- with the exception of the odd game here and there -- nearly all PS2 games will be playable automatically and what we'll get is an App to download onto our PS4s in order to play them.

I used it's to refer to "a public release" of what the sony announcement was talking about, so you're filling in blank spaces that are blank because i do not know.

Really hoping I can use my discs from my personal collection. If not this would be a huge let down. Although I would probably be tempted and buy a couple or more. Would be awesome to play gran turismo 3, onimusha, zone of the Enders, atv off-road fury and others.
