They don't need anyone, but if they had to, they could probably buy some loyal indie devs. Yacht Club Games and Playtonic would probably be good choices.

This for every other publisher/system owner, I;m tired of the whole "who should they buy and milk to death/deny other systems of said IP's". I'd rather Nintendo make new IP's of their own than buying anyone else, same goes for Sony/MS.

Question i see is, why would anyone want to be aquired by Nintendo ? They are not known to be the easiest to work with.
