Yeah, I completely ruined the ending of Xenoblade X just by -snip-.

See, this is the perfect example of the types of things not to put in this thread. Hinting that something will happen to someone is still a spoiler. It doesn't matter if you didn't tell me what. Please delete that comment and please refrain from mosting anything else like that here. Now the entire game I'll have that in the back of my mind. Don't tuin it for anyone else like you just did a little for me.

I won't report you because it wasn't a Zelda spoiler, but you just spoiled XCX for me. Just delete it, don't tell me anymore about it, and move on. Don't even clear anything up.

How did it spoil Xeno X, I told you how not to.

You tied an event to a character. If I told you "I spoiled the middle of FF7 by googling Aerith," it doesn't matter what else I tell you. You'll be waiting the entire game expecting something significant to happen to Aerith. It don't matter if don't tell you what. Before I said anything, you had no reason to believe anything would happen to her. Now, that is the primary thing you know about her. That is a spoiler to me.

I guess I can see. But saying someone spoiled the ending of the game by looking up its main character and I'd say no shit.

So wait, does this mean you're leaving VGC? Because I don't see how someone could continue to visit the forums of this site without seeing a spoiler for Zelda U. I'm sure the moment any blip of new info on that game comes out there will be like 10 posts about it lol.

Pretty much this, and the spoiler will more than likely appear in the title. So even not clicking on the links probably won't save him from all spoilers.

I always go into media blackout for games I eagerly anticipate.

Uncharted 4
Xenoblade X
Zelda U
Final Fantasy XV
Dragon Quest XI

Are all games I inform myself to a minimum. I like being surprised and more often than not, people spoil part of the game by complaining about some changes or by building unrealistic expectations based on hearsay or details taken out of context, etc...

Games with good track record, I don't need to follow them much.

Should I add you on the list?

Sure. But I don't really need reminders, since it's been my way of doing things for years now.

Way too early for me, probably I will go media blackout after E3.

Well Nintendo seems to be Media blackout on Zelda U till E3 in the first place.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Because I believe seeing/hearing about something related to gaming is a completely different experience than actually experiencing it head on by actually playing it.

I don't agree at all. Gaming is an interactively audio visual medium, meaning anything learned this way is a spoiler. By watching and hearing gameplay, you are objectively spoiling both the visuals and the audio of that experience because you are experiencing it in the exact same way you would be if you were playing it, with only the interactive part not being 100% spoiled. Even then, most people are smart enough to comprehend how a game will feel just by watching footage, spoiling the integrative part of it as well.

I have absolutely zero faith that they won't. They did it with ALBW. I'm sure they'll do it here.

They did? How much did they show before release?
