Forums - Nintendo - Some cool and dynamic new footage of Starfox Zero

Graphic has improve obviously, but the engine foundation still the same, compared to Bayoneta and XCX, this games should have improve more, is like seeing a HD port of 3DS star fox. Gameplay is no doubt will be fun. And for now the graphic is average but is better then the last build. But i don't see it will drastically improve for the next 5 month, it will just look slightly better. But keep your finger cross.

Lighting improved, but everything after 30 seconds on the first video looks so bad

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

The only way the graphics can compete with the likes of Bayonetta 2 is if they drop the second viewpoint on the Gamepad, which they won't.

They can still improve it noticeably between now and release, as they have since E3, but the two screen mechanic means drastic improvements are off the table.

Is like asking Battle field 4 game to be like Starwars battle front, ofcourse it will improve but not drasticly, and obviously you are right if they really want to drop the second screen they will improve but the games is almost done, they cannot do anything, maybe what they can change is fixing some bugs, and optimization,  but the whole look will still be the same.  The previous build and the current one is almost the same but ofcourse with better lightning and texture, the rest is the same.

Would have been nice if Nintendo used the game pad for two player co-op where the player2 with the game pad could control a movable turret attached to an aircraft or vehicle which player1 with a pro controller could control the flight controls as well as the front guns

That is exactly what Nintendo mentioned for multiplayer.

I was fine with E3 showing even game certainly does not looked like best looking Wii U game, but this video showed that graphic is improved, more staffs is going on on screen, and game look little faster. So improvements from E3 are all around, saying that, Nintendo still has almost 5 months for further improvements before release.

Action looks very intense.

Does the game have any multiplayer options, online/Local?

OK guys, let's not forget that this game is running two different viewpoints at 60 fps (most likely 720p 60fps + 480p 60fps).

With that in mind, and the fact that the Wii U is not a powerhouse, I'd say that the graphics are good enough.

Looks crisp and looks fun. I'm in.

Looks average. Gameplay is stuck in N64 era. And visuals are still underwhelming.

Agree. The characters have so much potnetial to be the next mario franchise, instead Nintendo is catering to 30+ yr old NIntendo fans instead of trying to grow the franchise for a new generation of gamer who expect more than we see in this game.

They can change it like ratchet and clank. Last Rare game in GC tried that approach. So much wasted opportunity.
