Multiplayer was confirmed at E3.
What hasn't been confirmed is online multiplayer.

Since Star Fox 64 is one of the best games ever made, I don't see a huge problem there. Specially when the gameplay of that game has aged so damn well. I played that game for the first time just 3 years ago and I loved every bit of it.
This game looks and feels like it should have came out 2 generations ago. Surely, there can be more interesting things to be done with the Star Fox Franchise.
Fokusu!
Those gameplay videos look fantastic, I was honestly indifferent before, but this game is really catching my interest now. Looking forward to hearing more.

I don't mean one player steers the ship while the other shoots, I'm talking 4 player dogfights, even 64 had that.
Would have been nice if Nintendo used the game pad for two player co-op where the player2 with the game pad could control a movable turret attached to an aircraft or vehicle which player1 with a pro controller could control the flight controls as well as the front guns

If SF0 stuck in N64 era should we expect 5 stages and two hours of gameplay? SF64 3D was big disappointment for me.

Agree. The characters have so much potnetial to be the next mario franchise, instead Nintendo is catering to 30+ yr old NIntendo fans instead of trying to grow the franchise for a new generation of gamer who expect more than we see in this game.
